what a wonderful world

The irony is in the title today, as i sat in the office praying for family & friends to get in touch and for those who have lost loved ones by the meaningless act that occoured in London.

I praise the emergency services for what they did and how quick they responded to the crisis.

What is this world coming to?

long time no blog

Have just realised I haven't blogged for a while , so I thought I'd update you if you read this.

Have just been made full time at work. After 6 months of part time so I am ok with that.

Tried to get in touch with old friends who can't really be friends if they stop talking to you because of a wedding ring.

Have taken to eating bananas and chocolate custard as part of my get healthy scheme.

I am doing the tesco race for life - www.raceforlife.org.uk so in training for that.

have been coming up with hairbrained scheme such as developing a village and calling it 'Nowhere' - and having a house in the middle with a plaque saying "welcome to the middle of Nowhere"

Love....

It has just occured that one of the major hassles in life is that of mating. As humans we moan about not having someone to share our life with...yetwhen we do find someone we spend most of our time moaning about having space and doing things on our own -

Does anyone has the answer to this or am I I just feeling boring old and married?

it's life....

Been a rough week or so with alot of things happening at the same time. This week was particularly hard since two members of our church died within 12 hours of each other in different parts of the country. This means having to speak nicely to my boss tomorrow to get some time off next week.
I am grateful that the two ladies in question are now resting peacefully and are no longer in pain.

I am doing the Tesco/cancer research race for life this year so I am dedicating it to one of the ladies who died from cancer.

On the good point my friend's sister gave birth to a little boy earlier on this morning.

One year on....

Today (7th) is my first wedding anniversary. One year of being a MRS!!!

It has been strange and we've had ups and downs but it is a nice feeling

another year on

Today i turned 24! It was surprizingly like any other day except I take this time to reflect on the past year. I think it has been a good year. i got my first birthday card that said 'wife' on it and another that said 'daughter in law' It was quite a nice feeling! Here is to another year!

Pet Hates

What are garages for? Most people would use them as an extra storage space. I suppose never owning a house or a flat with a garage I have never known how much they can be useful. Still if i had a house with a garage it would be for a car - not a workspace or storage....

Have a had a few days holiday... Been to mid wales to see some friends and had a lovely time not doing anything.

I am getting worried I turn 24 on friday...:-/
